In 2024, there are more than 1,000 newly registered pesticide products, including 381 herbicides. There are 120 herbicides for rice fields (including direct seeding, transplanting and other types), accounting for about one-third of the herbicides. Let's take a look at the basic situation of these products.
According to the China Pesticide Information Network, the 120 rice field herbicide products include 60 mixed formulations and 60 single formulations. There are 9 dosage forms involved, with the largest number of EC, and EW and CS were also registered. Details are shown in the below.
The largest number of registered active ingredients is Cyhalofop-Butyl, with 31, followed by Metamifop, MCPA, Propanil, Anilofos , Bentazone, etc. Mesotrione, Ethoxysulfuron, etc. are registered Less, see the picture below for details.
