Introduction
Penconazole is a systemic triazole fungicide with protective, therapeutic and eradication effects. Its main mechanism of action is a sterol demethylation inhibitor, which destroys and prevents the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an important component of the bacterial cell membrane. , causing the cell membrane to fail to form, causing the bacteria to die. Because it has good systemic properties, it can be quickly absorbed by plants and conducted internally; it has good protective and therapeutic activities.
Penconazole is more active than the commonly used triazoles on the market, about 5 times that of tebuconazole, 4 times that of difenoconazole, and 2 times that of flusilazole, so the dosage is smaller and the effect is better.
Penconazole is mainly used for the control of grape powdery mildew, white rot, black pox and cob brown blight, and the control of melon vine blight, powdery mildew, target spot and anthracnose.
